I had to share some of my favorite birthday goodies! First, these super cute cards that I got from everyone.
My goodness I love Papyrus. And Ryan is so good at finding them!
Since Ryan had to work all day on my birthday, he also made me three cute cards to open during the day to celebrate me growing up. It was so sweet I cried, and then I laughed at his "Middle School" picture:
Look at those T-shirts. Ariel! Les Mis! He is so right on, only he did NOT include in the picture that I was lighting things on fire. Like bushes. And nail polish bottles. As he wrote in the card "I"m not sure I would have wanted to know you in middle school." Thanks honey! Sadly, he's right. I was sort of a hormonal-nightmare-fire-beast- in middle school.
Ryan also got me this super cute bag. I would be lying if I haven't imparted to my husband - not so subtley - that "gift wrapping matters". Probably because I have post-traumatic-wrapping-syndrome, seeing how my Dad wrapped my presents in newspaper for Christmas ever year and I found it so upsetting. Now, I get nice bags.
Hooray! I LOVE this creepy-but-not-scary movie! And I love the name Coraline. Look for it on our someday future child.
My favorite thing was this gorgeous coral purse from Old Navy! I love the umbrellas and the brown leather straps. I so needed a new purse, so this was the perfect thing. My purse now has crumbly pennies in it that could be mistaken for toast.
The dog was also VERY excited for my birthday. I mean, look at her. She thinks it's AMAZING.
I'm already about 100 pages into Gone Girl. I can't stop reading passages to Ryan and saying things like "Please don't ever murder me, okay?" or "I promise not to fake my own death and blame you." I don't know what the plot actually is yet, but that's how good the book is. It's making me think.
My sister gave me these beautiful aqua earrings that I can't wait to wear this weekend, and a pair of bright pink shoes. They are almost too cool for me. Almost, but not quite.
This was sort of a birthday present...TO MYSELF! I went to a Thirty One Party the other day and bought this bag for my computer. The previous back was too big, too thin and very prone to oh, LOSING EVERYTHING inside of it. It's a great beach bag, NOT a great computer bag. So, I am loving this new bag that fits my computer perfectly. I really need to NOT lose my computer. And it fits my dope (I'm not cool enough to use that word. For sure.) headphones.
I feel cool when I wear them. Like I'm that cool chick in Pitch Perfect.
Last, these little notes will be perfect for saying thank you for all these lovely gifts, these, and others - like a pretty pink bowl, hot emerald shoes, vanilla candles, a trip to Maurice's and an owl friendship necklace. Thank you, thank you! I am so very blessed! And if you see me with my headphones on, watch out! Because in all honesty, I'm probably not paying attention to what I'm doing.

Haa LOOOVE Ryan's cards!! I want him to make some for me. Those are hilarious. Why were you a pyro in MS? That's scary, yo. That coral purse is awesome! I want one!
I still have your birthday present. I did not forget (even though I haven't sent a card yet, and skipped your shindig cus baby said I had to or I would be miserable.) I'm glad to see you were showered with love :-)
