The Best Ones are the Funny Ones

I went to a Bachelorette party this weekend for my friend Erin. While I only stayed for dinner and a little bit of hotel fun, I did have the pleasure of seeing the pictures afterwards. They are hilarious, and most of them are not okay to post on this PG-13 blog. That's okay. I have other pictures.

In fact, I have a large collection of hilarious photos that I keep. Most people throw away the pictures that don't look perfect, but I think those might be my favorites. Would you like to see them?

For starters, there is my Mom's dog Guinness. Guinness is a woman in a male dog's coat, and he is always in trouble for something. Bad dog, Cone of shame! Cone of shame!

Here is Emily, who was previous frolicking in the pee/ball pit at the City Museum when she realized that she literally could not get out of them.

Then another hilarious picture of Em - I leave the house for a few hours and I come back to...this. A huge homemade meal made out of things in my kitchen because she was bored. And the fact that she randomly grabbed Ryan's nerdy computer game...priceless.

Sometimes I try to be sexy in pictures, like my sister always is. It never really works out, as you can see below - also why is Sarah a face creeper? Or we try to make a cool picture, like the feet picture and it just is so much more difficult than you could imagine. Getting all our feet lined up like that? We were all sitting on top of each other because we didn't want them to be sideways and Sarah has like the longest legs ever so that made things difficult...yeah. A lot of giggly work goes into a shot like that.

I have funny friends who do funny things.

Cindy could have an entire file of hilarious pictures all to herself. Oh, are you trying to take a nice picture of yourself at the aquarium Liz? Too bad, random aquarium Elvis has entered the building. Or wishing someone would literally do a chicken dance?

Here's Michael, looking like "This is the stupidest thing ever..."

But he totally loved it. That's the story with Karen and Michael - she's always like "AMAZING!" and he's always like "Whaaaatt?"

Here's my Dad, looking like he's waiting for some sort of secret park tryst or posting on an internet dating site..."I like to hang out at parks and just see what happens"....Or, Dad as a floating head.

And here is my Dad representing what Cindy and I have always told him he has to eat in his house: cans. Always. Tons of cans. Who eats cans?

This picture would be a great profile picture for Ryan if there wasn't some guy picking a wedgie in the background. That guy being his Dad.

But Ryan has some special ones all his own..Batman likey hot dogs.

After seeing that picture, Ryan told me I had to post this:

Batman eats a hot dog. Hilarious.
This is how Ryan felt about being forced to take a picture with Bella's truck in Forks, WA. Ryan thinks Bella is the pits.

Cindy is also very special. When she had her wisdom teeth out (that explains the puffy cheeks) she had a special friend called the "pink person pillow". For two days, she wrapped the arm around herself like it was comforting her because as she put it "I needed a friend." Or, "I NERSJD HA FRIEHHGS" She carried it everywhere.

This same day she lost a pill. In her mouth. And I had to find it. Good sister award goes to...

Cindy tortured me on the gondola ride in Keystone by making the gondola swing back and forth as she tried to take pictures and I just wanted to cry and have a nervous breakdown while sitting PERFECTLY still. She thought it was hilarious and I began ACTUALLY crying. She wanted to come sit on my side and I kept pushing her back and sobbing. That's a GREAT time to take a picture. The other picture was when I told Heather and Cindy to look like good friends, and then they gave each other a look that was more um, *charged* without meaning too. Instead of looking like buds, they ended up looking like friends with benefits.

]

I call this Cindy's "Blah" face. Whenever you suggest something she doesn't like, she makes this face and her body goes limp like a toddler. "Want Starbucks?" BLAH FACE. "Hey let's craft!" BLAH FACE. "How about some sister feeling time?" BLAH FACE.

Anyone who has met my sister has seen this face.

Here is Jerry with a butterfly that had a serious thing for his forehead. It would not get off of him at the butterfly pavilion, and here's a picture of Sarah and her flower girl sticking a floor fan up their dresses because hey - wedding dresses are super hot and that room had no air conditioning.

And my favorite of all funny pictures usually involves taking pictures with my sister. They ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS turn out like this, because she takes forever to get ready for the picture and I'm always bored and annoyed by the time the camera flashes. So we have one sister with super model face and the other ready to be DONE with the whole thing.

And when I finally get a tolerable picture, this happens:

Or she tells me how to make sexy picture face "Suck in your cheeks, lean back and look straight at the camera while making a vampire face with the hint of a smile". Then someone takes a picture too early and we get this:

One of my favorite funny pictures EVER is this one -it's not a great picture of me, but I totally don't care because...it's so funny. The context? Cindy would not get in the freaking ocean on our Grand Cayman excursion because she was afraid of the sting rays. I thought they were magical and I was totally having a moment of pure, wonderful life. She took this picture of me from the boat, when I was holding up her mask and yelling "Come in! It's so fun! They don't even get CLOSE to you!"

I hope this made you laugh today. I know everyone has funny pictures and I would encourage my blogger friends to maybe share their own!
